Household items to bring to class: This was for first class
Alchemy, Shamanism, and the Crafts of the Wise Woman
Saturday,
May 30, 2009 9:00 - 3:00
Location: Fairy Garden, inside if chilly
Denver, Colorado
Dress casually, as we will be making products.
Things to bring to class:
If
you are starting out in the ways of the wise woman, collect these objects,
find, or buy the objects, soak in sea salt to cleanse energy, and set the
objects aside only for magical work, do not use in your everyday life. If
you do not have a magical cupboard, or an empty drawer, start with a box to
store your things.
You can fine inexpensive clear glass bowls at Wal-Mart, target, etc - or try
goodwill for pottery or glass, same for witches stirring spoons.
Pestle & mortar (if you have one)
2 cereal sized bowls (made from a natural product, glass, pottery, etc.)
1 set measuring spoons, metal best or glass, but bring what you have
1 set measuring cups, same as above
1 plate(may be part of set with bowls or not, also natural material - no plastic)
1 Teaspoon - for witches stir spoon if you have time get one separate from
your everyday silverware
1 Tablespoon same as above
Cheese grater
For
a prosperity / money spell:
5 old pennies
5 dimes
5 quarters
Soak the coins in sea salt over night
Clean
glass bottles with lids 3-4 if you have any
scissors (if you use one pair of scissors for everything just bring them.
If you have a pair for fabric and a pair for paper, bring each)
You do not have to buy these things, bring them if you have them, otherwise someone will share with you.
Come, and bring your child-self to play!
